I love working in porcelain. The soft, buttery feel of the clay allows me to add lines, shapes or items to the items while they are being made or as part of the decoration. The ceramic glazes that I use create beautiful colors and amazing shine to the items.

On holiday to Disney World in 2014, Linda was irked that there wasn’t more Maleficent merchandise for sale. Always looking for unique things, Linda decided to make her own Maleficent tea set when she got home. After painting and giving away 4 tea sets in 2014, Linda was asked to create a unique set for one of her good friends to give as a birthday gift. Knowing that most people would prefer to throw their sets in the dishwasher, she set out to create dishwasher/microwave and food safe sets. And that is how WhimsiKettle began.
