The joys of the internet. Who would have ever thought that life would be so dependent on it as it is?  I know that I am addicted to my phone and computer.  Heck, I can’t even watch TV without the internet to stream movies and whatnot.

I need some more tea, I hit the internet.
I want to send out a photo of my kids doing stupid things, I hit the internet.
I send out photos of my tea sets, I hit the internet…  It’s a constant thing.

And now there are hashtags.  According to my kids, if I don’t #life, it’s not #reallife.  What?  I didn’t get it.  Honestly, I still don’t. But I’ve learned how to  #fakeittillyoumakeit with them.  I don’t want to seem uncool or God forbid, “old”, so I’ve taken up hashtags and I’m trying to seem “with it”.  It’s a farce, but, oh well.

So check it out…I’m constantly using the hashtags: #dirtyhandsmakegreatart and #itsapotterslifeforme (I think this one is more accurate for Harry Potter fans).  Sometines you can even catch me using #whatsundermyfigernailsnow or #imadirtygirl.

I think that the young men who taught me about hashtags would be proud of me of stepping out of my comfort zone and doing something different.  So, I’m not just out there, I’m #outthere.  Yikes!  Oops, I mean #Yikes!
